Mario Francesco Batali (born September 19, 1960) is an American chef, writer, restaurateur, and media personality. He is currently under investigation for sexual harassment and assault to several women that worked for him. Batali co-owns restaurants in New York City, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Boston, Singapore, Westport, Connecticut and New Haven, Connecticut. Batali is also known for his appearances on the Food Network, on shows such as Molto Mario and Iron Chef America, on which he was one of the featured "Iron Chefs."
