Indian food is a luxury on tour.
-
I don't think there's any dearth of talent in India - we've always had the best juniors in the world.
-
I am glad that Wimbledon is my last slam. I love the atmosphere and courts of SW19, and it is an addiction, which I will find tough to give up.
-
The mentality we have in India is not very sporting.
-
I think that tennis has been in a place for many years without any change. Davis Cup and Fed Cup has always been a very exciting platform for players because it is such an individual sport, and we get to play a team competition. We love being part of a team.
-
Most Indians go into education. Their parents just push them into education like parents in Australia push them into sports.
-
I don't think tennis is a glamour game, not at all.
-
I'm a deeply spiritual person, and I strongly believe that God is watching over me!
-
Wimbledon 2014 will be my last slam. To be honest, I am already starting to miss professional tennis, having played at the highest level for two decades. It is what has given me my identity, and I will miss every bit of the action. The thought that I will not be playing anymore is daunting.

You have to work on your weaknesses, but you have to work on your strengths even more. After all, returning well is one of my chief responsibilities on a court.
-
The first match we were down match point in the super tiebreaker. The fact that we fought hard and came out of that, we knew we were a good team. Since then we got better with every match.
-
Everyday I am pushing the hamstring more in practice. I should be fine by Saturday.
-
She is trying hard and hopefully we will see her come up with a good result in the Wimbledon.
-
As soon as I saw she was playing, winning matches, I just kind of shot a quick e-mail to her agent. Fortunately, I got the positive answer and I think the rest is history.
-
The ease in which she was winning her first few matches just shows how fast she's back. I told her also after the match I think it's just gonna take two or three months and she's gonna be able to handle the top three, four. The pace is obviously different from three years ago. But once she starts playing a few matches at that level, she's going to be able to handle it. I'll be very surprised actually after Wimbledon if she's not in the top five.
-
She's got so much time, she's got so much variation on her shots. I just had to take care of my side most of the time. I know if they attack her, she's always ready. That makes life a lot more easy on the mixed doubles court.
-
Fortunately, I got the positive answer and I think the rest is history.

What is important is that we won. We badly needed to win to stay in group 1 to be in a position to take a shot at the world group.
