Liberty University will not lend its name or financial support to any student group that advances causes contrary to its mission.
-
I think that Gov. Huckabee is one of us. I know that a lot of the other candidates try to talk like evangelicals, but he's actually one of us. He believes like we do on all the issues, which energizes me as a voter.
-
Evangelicals and conservatives are voting as Americans and are voting to save our nation to control immigration, to stop terrorism, to bring jobs back to the country.
-
You have to hear from people who believe something different from you. That's why you go to college.
-
I believe the United States is very sick financially and might not survive another four years of Obama-style leadership.
-
I see a lot of parallels between my father and Donald Trump.
-
Jesus said, 'Render unto Caesar that which is Caesar's,' and part of that was to go to war, protecting whatever nation was under control of the king. I wouldn't agree with any interpretation of Scripture that was used to say that a man or a woman shouldn't protect their families.
-
My family has grown to love all of the Trumps because they are wonderful people willing to sacrifice much for their country.
-
In the 2008 and 2012 presidential elections, American voters were forced to choose between a liberal Democrat and weak establishment Republicans. Democrats won both times.
-
Dad truly believed that Christians should be involved in the political process and should make their voices heard.
-
I really believe that anybody on the Left or the Right that tries to invoke the teachings of Jesus to say they should vote for this candidate or that candidate, I think they're stretching Scripture.
-
Liberty University is pro-life and believes that marriage between one man and one woman provides the best environment for children.
-
Anybody would be a vast improvement over Obama.
-
Liberty never had to file bankruptcy, thanks to God's blessings, but we did go through tough times and painful debt restructuring in the 1990s.
-
I am proud to offer my endorsement of Donald J. Trump for President of the United States. He is a successful executive and entrepreneur, a wonderful father, and a man who I believe can lead our country to greatness again.
-
I am well aware that, if my endorsement is meaningful and helpful to Huckabee, it is because my father devoted so much of his life and ministry to cultural reform.
-
In my opinion, Donald Trump lives a life of loving and helping others as Jesus taught in the great commandment. He cannot be bought; he's not a puppet on a string like many other candidates... who have wealthy donors as their puppet masters.
-
That's something that the world needs to learn today: that you can disagree and still be friends.
-
So many of the schools are just politically correct mirrors of each other. If you go to this school versus that school, you're just going to get a different version of the same political correctness and liberal indoctrination.
-
It is my understanding that some groups who are opposed to visiting our campus are basing their decision on Liberty's concealed carry policy.
-
Wouldn't it be something if Liberty's votes were enough to change which presidential candidate won Virginia and maybe even the presidency itself?
-
A lot of Ivy League schools have presidents who are very politically active. And I don't think it has an impact on whether a student chooses a school or a donor gives to a school.
-
We're never going to have a perfect candidate unless Jesus Christ is on the ballot.
-
I have spent my entire adult life trying to make Liberty University the world-class Christian university that was envisioned at its founding.
