Once you have a plan, you must sell it to the players. It is not enough to put it on the blackboard and say, 'Okay, here it is.' You have to convince the players that the plan is a good one and show them, in specific ways, why it will work. If you do, you send them out to the practice field with more confidence.

A loss (Sunday) would have meant your back was against the wall and you're pretty much fighting week to week just to survive. To wind up 5-3, this puts you in a much better position. ... It gives you the feeling that you're fighting for it rather than trying to come off the floor.
-
In order to have a great rivalry, both teams have to be winning some games. Lately against Dallas, we haven't been able to do that, ... Until we start doing that, it's kind of hard to have a modern-day rivalry.
-
He's got tons of experience, and he's a very good holder. We felt like it was somebody we need to look at.
-
He's frustrated with the situation over the last couple years.
-
I know a lot of people would disagree with this, and I understand that. For me, personally, I felt like it was a decision that I had to make. I think we've got a situation where two quarterbacks can win ball games for us. ... I know this is something that Patrick doesn't agree with - he's a very competitive guy - but it's something we're going to have to work through.
-
All of our guys thought he was on the ground. That's what everybody told me. I didn't see it, but that's what instant replay is for.
-
That was the first time we got manhandled by somebody in the regular season. Our guys just took it upon themselves. They knew what needed to be done and they knew they needed to play hard.
-
You're hoping for a new CBA because it frees up a lot of money for all of us.
-
I don't think anybody has a handle on it. If they continue to move it, it would be a concern as the season gets closer.
-
I think any of us, including Coach Parcells, would say that it's players that win games. You have to have great players.
-
Unless I missed something, that should have been 15 yards if I have ever seen it. We are supposed to be watching the quarterbacks and protecting them.
-
Brandon's super important to us and what we decided was it was probably best for the team and for him to put him on IR instead of rushing him back.
-
There are some real critical decisions we're going to make in that group. So we played them a lot. And hopefully the film will tell us what we need to know so we make good decisions.
-
People who enjoy what they are doing invariably do it well.
-
He's not a starter and hasn't started, ... I know he's disappointed in not making more of an impact, not playing more, but I think it's something we have to work our way through. I think it's one of those things scheme-wise for our defense, it's the best way I would answer that. We've got a lot of guys that are talented guys who can do a lot of things for us. ... Health-wise, I think he's back.
-
We ran him and he just couldn't run.
-
He has fantastic long-ball, and ball reactions, ... Very few people can snatch a ball right out of the air like that quick. And then the other thing, he's got a great burst, and when you get him going downfield and put in the ball reaction, he can be running, I think, and doesn't even put his hands up until the last second because he has such confidence there in where the ball is. Even though he's a shorter receiver, I think he's very much a downfield threat because of that, and then, of course, he's got great speed.
-
For us it was just hard-fought, ... We fought hard all day and kept slugging. That's about all you can say from our side. I was proud of our guys, because they had great heart like that.
-
I felt like he got hit low on it. He tried to come back but felt like he couldn't. We'll have to see how that develops over the next couple of days.
-
Obviously, we're very happy to have Tony with us for the foreseeable future, ... Along with Home Depot, he's been an important part of our organization for a number of years, and we're thankful that's going to continue.
-
That was FedEx Field the way I sure remember it, ... We needed everything we could get today to win this game.'
-
Every week we've had four or five opportunities to get balls in our hands and we have not been able to, for whatever reason, to either get the fumble or get the interception, ... I don't know how to explain it. But it's put us in a real bind because you're not going to play on that side of the giveaway and takeaway ratio and win many football games.

Most of the quarterbacks I've dealt with when they're young have had setbacks.
