We'll continue to talk about that all week.

In times of biggest change, if you can keep your head and be the smartest, you may get a jump over everybody else. It's a challenge, but it's an opportunity, too.
Joe Gibbs
-
Trying to win five straight is a tough deal up here. Our backs have been against the wall for five weeks.
Joe Gibbs
-
Mark and other team members have worked cooperatively with us in renegotiations, approaching the matter like the veterans and team leaders that they are.
Joe Gibbs
-
They are a very good football team over there. They are No. 1 in many categories and we were trying everything we could.
Joe Gibbs
-
There are different ways that people feel like it should be done. Any way that you can add a player -- I don't care if it's a trade, the draft, free agency -- I want to be aggressive. Free agency is a place where you make fewer mistakes because you're not trying to project somebody from a college environment to the pros. You've got somebody that has already played up here and been successful.
Joe Gibbs
-
Right now, everybody is nervous. Certainly, we're one of those teams. We have a worst-case scenario that we have been working on for several weeks and we have a best case and everything in between.
Joe Gibbs
-
It's probably one of our biggest concerns, with his groin. It'll probably be later in the week before we get a report on that.
Joe Gibbs
-
The only way we are going to make the playoffs is by beating Philly. There is not a single person in this building who believes we can get in any other way.
Joe Gibbs
-
in terms of personnel, or changing the technique, there are a couple of things you can do there. We shouldn't have any blocked, and we've already had two. So it concerns us.
Joe Gibbs
-
Unless he really starts feeling good, in all likelihood I wouldn't think he'd go this week.
Joe Gibbs
-
It's been a big emphasis for us this week. We need to step it up on pass protection because it's a big deal for us.
Joe Gibbs
-
It was a big disappointment for us, ... We talked long and hard about it. It's been a real concern. It's a problem, and we've got to get it corrected.
Joe Gibbs
-
We certainly accomplished a lot this year. We were 6-10 last year, and the facts speak for themselves this year. We got a lot of good things done.
Joe Gibbs
-
I've got to tell you, for a little old guy fighting his guts out, we really like him. We've got some tough decisions there to make, and certainly he stood up.
Joe Gibbs
-
You win and you're in; you lose and you're out. We've been in that situation the past four weeks, ever since the three (consecutive) losses (in November).
Joe Gibbs
-
Ray really looks like a stroll in the park. He looks like he could do it the rest of his life.
Joe Gibbs
-
I would like for the offense to look good, but that's not going to be easy against one of the best defenses in the league that I've gone against, ... It will kind of depend on how the game goes for us, but our game plan would be roughly a third, a third and a third.
Joe Gibbs
-
My commitment to the players was to try to keep this whole group together and hopefully improve and step up again next year.
Joe Gibbs
-
Looking back to 5-6, we talked at that time that if we lost another game we'd be out. Trying to win five straight is a tough deal, but our guys seemed to understand what it would take. We went back to the basics.
Joe Gibbs
-
That's my responsibility and obviously we wanted to be much more productive than we were in the playoffs. That'll be one of the things we look hard at.
Joe Gibbs
-
With our free agents, we think we have the best place for them.
Joe Gibbs
-
He has a bone bruise, plus he has a chip, which we cleaned out. We sat and talked to Brandon a long time. He is super important to us. We decided it was probably best for the team and for him, rather than to try and rush him back, to put him in IR.
Joe Gibbs
-
I had great football players. To be quite truthful, my great football players, the ones who wanted the ball at the end of the games, they weren't focused on money. They want to do something great. They want to go to Pro Bowls. They want to win Super Bowls. Those are the people that succeed in sports - or in business.
