Nimrata "Nikki" Haley is an American politician who currently serves as the 29th United States Ambassador to the United Nations. A Republican, she served as the 116th Governor of South Carolina and is a former member of the South Carolina House of Representatives. Haley was the first female governor of South Carolina, and the second Indian-American to serve as a governor in the United States.
