She debuted with the 2011 thriller Yeh Faasley, and went on to star in the action comedy Sahi Dhandhe Galat Bande, before making her foreign debut in 2012 in the English comedy-drama The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel. She is also known for her main role in the Netflix series Sense8.

Everyone goes on about how Bombay is so similar to New York, so I had see what the big deal was. The bustling crowds are the same, but it's a lot quieter, it's a lot cleaner, and it's not humid. I think the energy is very similar to Bombay.
