Michelle Gomez is a Scottish actress. She is known for her comedy roles in The Book Group (2002–03), Green Wing (2004–07) and Bad Education (2012–13), as well as playing Missy – a version of The Master in the long running British science-fiction programme Doctor Who from 2014 to 2017, for which she was nominated for the 2016 BAFTA TV Award for Best Supporting Actress. She is also known for playing Mary Wardwell / Madam Satan in Netflix supernatural horror series Chilling Adventures of Sabrina (2018–present), which is adapted from the comic book series with the same name.
