Alyson Ackman is a swimmer who competed on the Canadian National Swim Team from 2013-2016. She won a silver medal in the 4 x 200 Freestyle relay and a bronze in the 4 x 100 Freestyle relay at the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
I always love using the girls behind the blocks to create even more energy. It's so much fun and so much energy to be with these girls, I love training with them and it's just so much fun to race next to them. I try to use that as much as I can.
You have to have a good race plan. Our race plan this morning was to win the heat and get into the finals tonight. Tonight will be the big race.
