Writer/Director/Showrunner Andrew Gurland is best known for creating FX's critically acclaimed comedy series, "Married (2014-2015)," as well as for his role as a forefather of the found footage movement. Gurland's docu-style feature films, "Mail Order Wife (2004)," "Last Exorcsim (2010)," and "Virginity Hit (2010)" were some of the earlier and more authentic entries in the found footage genre. Gurland also directed (along with Todd Phillips) the controversial fraternity hazing documentary, "Frat House," Grand Jury Prize winner at the Sundance Film Festival (1998).
