It's sore. But I'm not really worried. I just want to know what's wrong so I can start taking care of it.

He did exactly what I thought and anticipated, ... It was perfect.
Champ Bailey
-
I think all the emphasis has made it even more valuable, ... Everybody is looking for those players.
Champ Bailey
-
We try to confuse you as much as we can. I think it's hard for a quarterback.
Champ Bailey
-
It was nonexistent, most of it. There were moments where I turned certain ways, or put my arm certain ways where I could feel it, but nothing real extreme.
Champ Bailey

I don't think it will ever be back to normal this year. That's just something I've got to deal with. It's going to be painful, but it's nothing I can't play with.
Champ Bailey

I think as a veteran player, in general, you should feel that sense of responsibility to try to lead these guys to becoming good pros. You want the league to be in good hands, and you want these guys to become great NFL players and then pass it along to the next generation. You can only lead by example, and that's pretty much what I'm trying to do.

I always want to go. If you don't go, I don't know, maybe they quit asking you. I love it. Any time I'm voted in, I don't care if it's the 20th in a row, I'm coming; I'll be right here and I'll play like I want to be here.

I was a little shocked with the recovery I made so fast. I didn't think I'd be able to do anything today. I thought maybe tomorrow, but not today.
Champ Bailey
-
I expected that because we've got guys behind (Williams) that are ready to play and want to get out there. They had their opportunity to get out there and play and they did well.
Champ Bailey
-
I feel closer to playing, closer to being able to play. Last week, I couldn't.
Champ Bailey
-
If we play our game and do what we're capable of doing, nobody can beat us.
Champ Bailey
-
I feel a little bit better, and I did a little bit more than yesterday.
Champ Bailey
-
I don't care how far you get in the playoffs. Nobody remembers you until you win the Super Bowl.
Champ Bailey
-
I'm not Deion Sanders. We're different people with different styles. People see similarities between me and him; that's fine. It's an honor to be mentioned in the same breath with him. But that's as far as I go with it.
Champ Bailey
-
Speed can make up for a lot of things. And those boys can all run. You can't substitute that.
Champ Bailey
-
You know what to expect from him every week. You don't get a different quarterback. You see some quarterbacks go out there and play great, and then the next week they go out there and they don't play half as good as the last week. So I like that.
Champ Bailey
-
Somebody's going to give him a shot if we don't. I'll tell you what, I'd welcome him in my locker room. We understand what he brings to the table, positives and negatives, but you know never know, you give him a fresh start, things could work out.
Champ Bailey

It makes me feel better about missing a game. I hate to miss, but if we lose, I'll feel even worse about the job I'm doing.
Champ Bailey
-
It's just another week to me. All I've got to deal with is the harness.
Champ Bailey
-
We've got a great defense, a great front seven. There's no way we shouldn't play the way we did in the second half every week.
Champ Bailey
-
We're going in the right direction, but I'm not satisfied until I get a ring. I don't care how far you get in the playoffs, nobody remembers you until you win the Super Bowl. Obviously, this is good up until this point, but I want things to be a lot better. I want that ring.
Champ Bailey
-
I don't worry about getting tired. I try not to let it guide me as far as how much I'm going to play. I play with my heart.
Champ Bailey
-
Time heals all things.
