Personally I don't believe in standing on the ice, or jamming the blueline, waiting. I have always told my players that hockey has to be played on your toes.

Our focus is on our two guys. We're praying about their health, to overcome this tragedy.

Our power play was really clicking. Lots of skill, lots of speed and lots of experience.

Sometimes you have to go outside your boundaries. You have to jump over that fence, but I always felt very comfortable (in my jobs) because I worked with some good people.
Bob Hartley -
That's a team that is one of the best when it comes to four balanced lines. There's no weaknesses and they are tough to play. So to leave this building with a win is certainly a big plus for us.

In the past years, this organization has been slapped more than we deserve it seems. But I think we're a pretty resilient organization. We showed people before that we can turn around and go through tough times as a bunch of pros. This is obviously another situation where we will have to adjust.

Andy Sutton is not a dirty player by any means. I think he's a very honest player and he just tried to finish his check. It's unfortunate and you never like to see players get injured. But it was one of those things. I think since it occurred just a couple of seconds after all those fights it looks way worse than what it is.
Bob Hartley -
It was a game where we carried the play and they carried the play for a while. It was a big game and unfortunately, they got the final shot on power play and we didn't. It's just sad.

I thought the effort was good. I think we lost our focus in the second period when we could of put the Flyers away.
Bob Hartley -
We're going to pick up whatever is left of him when it is over. I just hope the Finnish team will supply the elastic bands (used to treat groin injuries) when he comes back.
Bob Hartley -
You don't play with a head injury. You can come back from a broken leg, but ... a head injury could cost a guy his career.
Bob Hartley -
It all comes down to our big guys. Right now, we need more from certain guys. When things are going bad every mistake ends up in your net.
Bob Hartley -
He has been our most consistent two-way player all year, and I can use him in any situation. He's an excellent offensive player with great speed and he is unbelievably strong on the puck. He cares about the team's success and winning more than individual stats. He's an important part of our club and he deserves the recognition he is getting.

... I had a dream where I was taken to Heaven and brought into a beautiful library. There I was given two golden books that were covered with dust. The Lord told me they were golden treasure that was needed for the Body of Christ to have the knowledge to proceed and succeed in this hour.

To see McCabe back on the ice after 30 seconds speaks for itself ... case closed.
Bob Hartley -
I'm going to say that Pat Quinn can say what he wants. I don't care.
Bob Hartley -
Marian is one of the top players in this league. He's an unbelievable athlete, and he's strong on the puck.
Bob Hartley -
He's a big offensive threat, he has great vision, and he plays with his head up. He's got that great, quick wrist shot that you can't teach. He's got a good power-play mind-set. ... We just have to keep playing him.
Bob Hartley -
I think we picked up life from the New Jersey game. Our penalty killing is unbelievable, and once again our penalty killer is Garnett. Our forwards and our defensemen also are doing a great job blocking shots and applying pressure. We're making smart decisions.
Bob Hartley -
He was the dominant factor in this game, no doubt. The one thing we could have done was get in front of him better. But we moved the puck well, made some great decisions. But we couldn't finish.
Bob Hartley

I have always trusted my instincts, I took some bold decisions in my life.....many people may say they were crazy risks.
Bob Hartley -
Tonight was not a typical Thrashers effort. We chased them all night. We didn't play our game.
Bob Hartley -
We need three more wins. There's no way we can settle for less than this. With three more wins we're going to force other people to win their games and basically that's a situation we want to be in.
Bob Hartley -
We're are at that stage where we're really hoping for some help.
