John Paul Cooper, known professionally as JP Cooper, is an English singer and songwriter. He is best known for featuring on the Jonas Blue single "Perfect Strangers". The song was certified platinum in the UK. His follow-up solo single was "September Song". He is signed to Island Records.

We tried to create something that had a bit of odd/off-kilter humour in it, again I wanted to have fun with it, I wanted it to be something that made people smile, that was kind of sweet and still suited the song. It’s probably the most fun I’ve ever had making a music video and I’m really happy with it.

It’s not something that I always take into consideration but it is interesting to see who people would like me to work with. I think it’s something that I enjoy, it gives me a lot of freedom working with other people, particularly people who work in different genres.
