Karen Julia Carney MBE is an English former professional footballer who played as a winger for Chelsea and the England national team. Since making her senior international debut in 2005, Carney became the second most capped England player, making 144 appearances, including at the 2005, 2009, 2013 and 2017 European Championships and the World Cup in 2007, 2011, 2015 and 2019. She also competed for the Great Britain team at the 2012 Summer Olympics.
