The problem I see is I don't know who you compare Vince Young to - and I think that makes people uncomfortable. Young is a different breed.

Every team goes through it at some point, in some form or fashion to varying degrees, ... And it is a fact of life in the NFL today. What degree, and what your expectations are, varies as well.

Any player you bring in, you have to be concerned about team chemistry. It's not necessarily the guy may or may not be a bad apple. It's just in terms of demeanor and work ethic. We have very good team chemistry. This team has been together for a while and has developed a certain camaraderie. You don't want to disrupt that.

I understand that it's a volatile environment. Certainly I have tough enough skin, so have at it. There's no way to properly answer that question so I won't try.

I've lived in the Baltimore area for seven years and I am always amazed at the passion and anger you still have for the Colts leaving Baltimore...
Brian Billick -
The intangibles are a euphemism for we have no idea what we're looking for but we know it when we see it.
Brian Billick -
Some people like what he does, some people don't. We were being very aggressive about taking the next step for this team to win a Super Bowl, by recognizing what we were going to have to deal with in what was arguably the best player in free agency. Rewards are usually proportional to the risk you take. Yeah, this is a risk.

I can only imagine how he must feel without that shadow, without that burden hanging over him. Just look in his eyes. I've never seen him more vibrant. There's more sparkle in his eyes, more energy.

I don't think you can really trust a man who likes to dance.
Brian Billick -
Everybody deals with injuries. We've been there before. The next guy steps up. That's a tall order, but you can't approach the game any other way.
Brian Billick -
Well, if quarterback drops start going to 40 yards, then we're going to be concerned. As long as they stay in that 10-yard level, we're going to be OK.
Brian Billick -
I told the team before the game they didn't quite seem to have the passion and intensity you need to have every time you step on the field. That's something this team is usually good at. That concerns me a little bit.
Brian Billick -
You act like a man, I'll treat you like a man.
Brian Billick -
I am afraid I'm not going to be much help to you right now. I am not prepared to give you a lot of observations until I absorb this and look at the film and decide what happened and how we are going to go forward.

Only if we let it. Only if we believe what we read and see. I know the Jets aren't feeling sorry for themselves. I know the resolve that team has. That's a good football team.
Brian Billick -
You give a coach, any coach, a player for two years, let's say...
Brian Billick -
To draw too many conclusions about anybody this early in the season, I do not know if that is real functional.
Brian Billick -
I can do the math. You can't trade sevens for three, plain and simple.
Brian Billick -
As I have always said, I'm very thankful and appreciative to be part of an organization and a group of people that we have here.
Brian Billick -
So I hear they call you 'The Freak' Wow, that's quite a coincidence. They call me 'The Brain.'
Brian Billick

We certainly have the capability, no question about it. Those are our aspirations.
Brian Billick -
Fans the challenge is there. Pace yourself. Don't all go get beer at the same time, balance it up. Same way going to the bathrooms. The first time there's a little bump in the road, don't lose your nerve. Keep up the noise because we can wear them out. The fans can be a factor. Baltimore fans can be a factor in this game.
Brian Billick -
We got a lot of work to do plain and simple. This bye week didn't look to be in a good spot when it first came out, but obviously right now it's what we need because we have a great deal of work this next two weeks.
Brian Billick -
I've been talking about the character of these guys for quite awhile and I think you saw it tonight. It is something we can and will build on.
