Eric Todd Reid Jr. is an American football safety for the Carolina Panthers of the National Football League . He played college football for Louisiana State University , and received consensus All-American recognition. He was selected by the San Francisco 49ers in the first round of the 2013 NFL Draft, with whom he made a Pro Bowl.
