Daniel Wood Gatton Jr. was an American guitarist who fused blues, rockabilly, jazz, and country to create a musical style he called "redneck jazz".
That's the first band I ever played in that was working and I was getting paid for it. I was 12. The other guys were a lot older than me.
Lenny Breau played more great stuff at one time than anybody on the planet... with feeling and tone. He was the best that ever lived, bar none.
