Alla Nazimova (Russian: Алла Назимова; born Marem-Ides Leventon; June 3 [O.S. May 22] , 1879 – July 13, 1945) was a Russian actress who immigrated to the United States in 1905. Although her accepted birth year is 1879, that is far from certain since there are different sources that indicate 1878 or even 1876 (an October 1905 passenger list gives her age 29).
