Lisa Murray Madigan (born July 30, 1966) is an American politician. A member of the Democratic Party, she has served as the 41st Attorney General of the U.S. state of Illinois since 2003, being the first female to hold that position. She is also the stepdaughter of Michael Madigan, who has served as Speaker of the Illinois House of Representatives since 1997.
