Louis James Barletta (born January 28, 1956) is an American politician and businessman serving as the U.S. Representative for Pennsylvania's 11th congressional district since 2011. A member of the Republican Party, he previously served as Mayor of Hazleton, Pennsylvania from 1999 to 2010. As Mayor he came to prominence for his high-profile anti-immigration ordinances, which spurred legal challenges. Hazleton no longer enforces the anti-immigration ordinances, which cost the town significantly in terms of legal fees.
