Great music, timeless music is hard to come by, but there are some that are like that.

The doctors told me I could never have kids, but God blessed me anyway.
-
We're just not the type of artists that take anything for granted and just feel like, 'Oh yeah, you just know something great is going to happen.' We're not like that.

Every time I got drunk, this girl named Nikki would show up. When I got drunk, I was just a different person. This is a totally different person than Lisa. When these two started to battle it out, I had to create a third person to come in and straighten the two of them out. Nina, my evil twin who came from within, who I blame my sins on. (satanic alter) All the problems I did have stemmed from what I was doing - I was creating all these different personalities.

What we eat will tell everything when it comes to our bodies, our skin, our hair, how we feel, your endurance for things.

Usher did the ultimate no-no to me. I will never be with him again, and that is that.

You're always in a blessed position if you have a great success story, especially to be in a position to be able to tell it so people can even understand.

To have a body of work is a blessing - when you have songs that have been around generation after generation that they call timeless music, you can work that for a long time.

When I met T-Boz and Left Eye, they were buying jeans that were a size 38. Three little cute girls dressed like boys was cool back then. Our style was cartoonish but fly at the same time.

Of course Black Lives Matter and the killing of young black boys is heartbreaking to all of us. Everyone knows I am a black mother of a black son, so there is no way I could watch what's happening and not be affected.

We all like all kinds of music. Like, I love Shania Twain.

The teenage years are my least favorite, though my son is phenomenal. He does not get in trouble, and he's not a bad kid. But the fact that they think they know so much.

I've traveled the world in one of the best groups ever. I'm 42.

In life, when you lose anyone, there's always an adjustment period - emotionally, mentally and physically.

TLC always looked up to male bands. We saw guy groups could just go out and get the fans screaming by just standing there - fully clothed and with nothing but their music... We saw them as the competition more than the girl groups, with whom we wanted to stay unified.

I don't know if I want her to sing it with us, but I'm curious to what type of song Taylor Swift would write for us. I'm curious to see what kind of pen she would write for TLC. Or like an Adam Levine. Somebody like that. They're phenomenal writers.
-
From day one, we always admired male R&B groups. They would go onstage with no shirt on and baggy jeans, and girls would scream.
-
At the end of the day we feel the same; we all hurt.
-
Everything from the music to our clothes was truly authentic. Lisa and I were in my basement spray painting our overalls.
-
In any relationship, even when it came to my relationship with Usher, when it was time to make a move, I had to do that. I don't care how much my heart was hurting, sometimes you're just supposed to be with people for a reason, and it's not always a lifetime. Even if you want it to be, it just doesn't work out that way.
-
We're so blessed to have an amazing catalog.
-
Music is my heart.
-
I want everybody to know that I don't care who you are, where you're from, if you're popular or not: we all have haters. But you have to be resilient. You have to not allow them to have the power over you, where you start believing the things they say.
