It's a hard thing to explain to other people because it sounds very superficial and nepotistic, but doing the interview is actually a very deep, dream-fulfilling aspect of relationship.
This notion that Americans have. . . that they don't have to do anything other than be American in order to lead - that's very pervasive in the culture, it goes very deep into how they see themselves here.
I believe very deeply that this beauty I call the soul is not a random occurrence. I don't know what its meaning is at some larger level, but I know that it has meaning.
