Blue Monday's distinctive intro was written on an Oberheim DMX drum machine.
Some records with drum machines on them sound phony and plastic. It all depends on how you use the tools.
At home I don't really have any drum machines or anything like that, I just have a piano and a cassette machine, an old-fashioned one, an old relic which I've always used.
