Nicholas William Markakis (/mɑːrˈkeɪkɪs/ mar-KAY-kis) is an American professional baseball right fielder for the Atlanta Braves of Major League Baseball (MLB). He previously played for the Baltimore Orioles from 2006 to 2014. Markakis is a three-time Gold Glove Award winner, and he won a Silver Slugger Award and was named an MLB All-Star in 2018. Markakis holds the MLB record for consecutive games without making an error (398).
