Sarah Neufeld is a Canadian violinist who is known for her work with indie rock band Arcade Fire, with whom she is a former core member and currently a touring member. She has worked with other artists and released a number of solo works.
Work really hard, find joy in working really hard, and don’t focus on the outcome of your hard work.
I think music is best left for the listener to experience for themselves. My own description of it is only based on my own history, my own musical references and perspective. I like to avoid coloring things for people too much.
So many things inspire me to write, that’s really hard to put into words. Usually some form of chaos or discomfort propels me into a writing mode.
