Beryl Smalley, FBA (3 June 1905 – 6 April 1984) was a British historian and academic, best known for her work, The Study of the Bible in the Middle Ages, originally published in 1941, but revised many times, a book that laid the foundations of modern study of the Medieval popular Bible.
