Ari Staprans Leff, known by his stage name Lauv, is an American singer, songwriter and record producer based in Los Angeles. His debut EP, Lost in the Light, was released in 2015, and his first full-length album I met you when I was 18. (the playlist) was released in 2018. He is best known for his singles "I Like Me Better", "The Other", "A Different Way" with DJ Snake, "There's No Way" with Julia Michaels, and "I'm So Tired..." with Troye Sivan. He has written songs for other artists including the singles "Boys" by Charli XCX and "No Promises" by Cheat Codes and Demi Lovato.
