Most of the time in February, everybody thinks they have the best class they've ever had. But we won't know until we get them here in August and see them. Certainly the way they rank them and the way we feel about them, it's our best class top to bottom. But that's always yet to be seen.

We're certainly going to miss Tony Levine, who spent three productive seasons at the University of Louisville. We're excited about bringing Tom into our program. He's a dedicated and bright young coach. He'll bring a lot of enthusiasm and energy to our staff.
-
We'll probably have him do as much as he can as long as nobody is around him. We won't take any chances.
-
Oregon State doesn't seem to worry about too much what style they're playing against, ... They have their defensive package they're going to run and they have their offensive package they're going to run. They don't change up a whole lot.
-
We've got to do a better job of playing the ball when we're downfield, ... And then we did have some communication mistakes defensively that allowed them to get some big plays.
-
They're going to try to run the ball at us, ... They like their fullback they have, and they like their big running backs. They're a physical team, so we're going to have to try to shut down the run and force them to throw the ball.

We have another challenging schedule that our players, coaches and fans will enjoy. We play at Kansas State for the first time and we have Kentucky, Miami and West Virginia at home for our fans. It's going to be a tough schedule, but I know our players will be excited about what's in front of them.
-
You always miss a great player, but I think the players on this team have taken a lot of pride in overcoming obstatcles when we have a player down ? not only the offensive players, but the defensive players. We were very fortunate that we played that well.
-
We're very excited about Michael's decision to return to the University of Louisville. He's such an integral part of our offense and I look for him to have a huge senior season.
-
I understand my name is being mentioned in connection with job openings in the National Football League, but I want to re-iterate my commitment to the University of Louisville, our players and all of our Cardinal fans. The University of Louisville has been great for me, and family and I'm committed to fulfilling our goal of taking the program to the next level.
-
It's hard to explain how well he's played. He just keeps going. I hope he can keep it up.
-
It was really positive, ... And that was great to see.
-
I think being a leader is something that's important to him and he's been working hard at it. He's got a great personality for it; he'd talk to the wall if it would talk back to him. Now we'll see if the players think as much of him as I do.
-
We hope our home-field advantage is really big. That's what we want, ... We want to get where it is a real tough place to come in to play. Our guys are excited about it. It is our first time at home and it is going to be a good crowd. It's going to be loud.
-
It's not something we really like, having a bye the second week of the season. Unfortunately, with the change in conference that's what we ended up with.
-
We went against a lot of big-name schools. Our coaches were not shy about it. They went after the best players in their areas. We took some hits, but we won some.
-
I thought our players handled it pretty well. they practiced hard and practiced fast. We got better. We were able to come back last night and get a game preparation practice in for Oregon State and that went really well. You like the preparation time, but you also like getting into a game week rhythm. It is hard to keep practicing against each other all the time.

Anytime you make a play like Brandon did and take the ball from the minus two and drive it out of there, that shows a lot of character and a lot of toughness by our offensive line and our running game.
-
It's definitely disappointing, but it's something we'll learn from. We'll be back. We're looking forward to the challenge of coming back.

Football is a way of life down there.
