Brian Allan Dopirak is an American professional baseball first baseman who is a free agent.
All these guys are just like me. They were a rookie at one time in their life. They treat me like I'm one of the guys. I look at Greg Maddux and saw him sitting over there and said, 'Man, that's Greg Maddux. That guy is going to be in the Hall of Fame.' Now I sit there and talk to him like a teammate. It's a reality check, and it's a great feeling at the same time.
I think anyone would be disappointed with a .230- something season. Now I've dealt with disappointment and hopefully I can bounce back and learn from it.
I try to pick his brain as much as I can. Any chance I get, I try to talk to him.
It's been great -- the playing time, the opportunity to start a few games. I'm just enjoying myself and having a good time when I'm here.
