Donald Brian Roeser, more commonly known by his stage name Buck Dharma, is an American guitarist and songwriter, best known for being the sole constant member of Blue Öyster Cult since the group's formation in 1967. He wrote and sang vocals on several of the band's best-known hits, including "(Don't Fear) The Reaper," "Godzilla" and "Burnin' for You."

I think a lot of bands these days expect instant success without putting the work into it. MTV and the like allows bands to be seen by millions without having to treck across the world, and while it has it’s place, I don’t think you can replace the experience you get by playing live.

I enjoy playing and singing as much today as I ever did. I don’t have to work, but I do it because it’s rewarding personally. I could live if I couldn’t do it anymore, but I truly enjoy it, and will do it for another couple years at least.
