Hamilton Evans "Tony" James is an American business executive, serving as executive vice chairman of The Blackstone Group, a New York-based global asset management firm, after previously serving as president and chief operating officer. He is also a known philanthropist. James has also served as chairman of Costco since August 2017.

My advice to young people is to get something that's growing because that's how you get career opportunities thrown at you that you don't deserve, if you will... that come at you early because the firms need you.
