Country music in the mid-'90s was a big influence on my career, and I played all the songs that are referenced in '94' back in my club days. When I was a kid, we went to St. Augustine, Fla., and I was lying on the couch one night with a Q-tip, cleaning my ear out after I'd taken a shower.
