Joseph J. Pulitzer (/ˈpʊlɪtsər/); Hungarian: [ˈpulit͡sɛr]; born József Pulitzer) was a newspaper publisher of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch and the New York World. He became a leading national figure in the Democratic Party and was elected congressman from New York.
