J. P. Rangaswami (born 12. November 1957 in Kolkata (formerly Calcutta) is an indian businessman, who originally was trained as an economist and journalist. He has worked in a number of companies since 1980. He served as the Managing Director of Service Design and Chief Scientist of BT Group plc. Mr. Rangaswami holds a Degree in Economics and Statistics from St. Xavier's College, University of Calcutta.
