The original is more musical than the club mix. I always enjoy using melodies and find it crucial for albums to have variety in styles.

Groovy and jacking the way I like it in my sets. This is pretty much a trademark ‘Christian Smith’ style track, with a proper arrangement with a good climax

This is another typical “Christian Smith’ techno tune. I used an analog synth sequence as the main hook, and added a powerful groove and break to the track. Been tested many times and always delivers.

The original of this track come out on Drumcode in June. This version, however, is more hypnotic that the original. This is why I decided to include it as an extra track on the album.

It’s no secret that I’m one of the few techno producers that does not shy away from using melodies in my productions. This track features a nice Arpeggio, and several analog synth strings while still maintaining a good amount of energy.

This is something to break off the flow of the album a little. I think its fun to compose these kind of things. I used moog and sequential circuits synths, some vintage flangers, and cool effects.

This is slightly stripped back groover. I really enjoy playing tracks that have a slight old school feel but modern production. I pitched down my own voice for the ‘Input-Output” hook and built a groove around it. The track reminds me a little of my track “Get It Done’ and is simple and effective.

I was very much influenced by early electro tracks of the 80’s. This is an ode to my influences while keeping production tight and modern. I used a vocoder to disguise my voice and classic Minimoog bass, and Roland TR808 kick drum to get the nice vintage feel.

This is a very vintage inspired track. It’s rather slow at 120bpm, so that I could give lots of space for the powerful bass line and the TB303 acid line. What I like about this track is that its old school yet futuristic at the same time and works really well on the floor.

This track is probably the tune with the most reactions on dance floor of this album. People go mad ;) I used the same “Shepard Tone” (rising sound) plug-in that I used in my track “Total Departure” which came out on Drumcode in 2008 and added yet another crazy siren sound on top of it. The result is total dance floor mayhem.
