Edward Philip George Seaga ON, PC was a Jamaican politician. He was the fifth Prime Minister of Jamaica, from 1980 to 1989, and the leader of the Jamaica Labour Party from 1974 to 2005.[3] He served as leader of the opposition from 1974 to 1980, and again from 1989 until January 2005.

He's a man of rare distinction, outstanding in every way; he's a doer and there are few of those in Jamaica. I don't know what he's going to do but he will have to be back here very often.
