They got coached all week, I'll say that.

We finished our last ball game with Iowa and were on an off-week and then we had to travel a significant distance to get to Hawaii. So we prepared for a certain number of days, let them have a couple days off, came back and traveled to Hawaii.

Was in our ear a lot more this week than he's ever been since I've been here.
Bret Bielema -
I've really been happy with the progress of all three. It's really a talented group that I'm expecting big things from.
Bret Bielema -
After the second day, he's got it mastered, too. He's just a guy who takes a lot of pride in what we ask him to do.
Bret Bielema -
He's been battling through that. He rolled it right toward the latter part of winter conditioning. I was going to say something to him before practice because he wasn't taped. He's usually taped on that one ankle and he wasn't. But he was after that.
Bret Bielema -
The thing that you've got to be always conscientious of when you're playing a team that likes to chop block, ... is not overemphasizing to the point that they're looking for the chop block instead of going to make the play.
Bret Bielema -
Not only that but a leadership role. He's someone who works hard every day. He may not be the best in anything individually. But he's definitely going to try and be the best.
Bret Bielema
-
He's intriguing to us because he's very athletic. But we were so thin in the offensive line and we wanted him to learn the elements of blocking before switching him, again.
Bret Bielema -
Robinson made some people look silly on film, just with his ability to lower the shoulder. He's not looking to take a knee or a slide or anything like that. He likes to get as much as he can out of every opportunity he has.
Bret Bielema -
I like his strength, I like his gamesmanship. If he gets a shoulder on anyone it usually disrupts their path and that's not always the case at the running back position. So I like the power that he brings to the table.
Bret Bielema -
Anybody we offered a scholarship to in the state of Wisconsin is in this program now.
Bret Bielema -
The thing that I'm excited about right now is another year to work under coach Alvarez.
Bret Bielema -
Now, we're getting into the meat and potatoes about spring ball.
Bret Bielema
-
He is just beginning to get his feet wet. But he definitely will strike you. He's not afraid of anything.
Bret Bielema -
Whatever it was, we really emphasized that we wanted it to be consistent time and time again and weren't going to accept anything less.
Bret Bielema -
Would you rather have an overachieving 3-Star, or an underachieving 5-Star?
Bret Bielema -
One of the biggest things we've got going this year is we want to finish, finish, finish. That's about as big a finish as you're going to have.
Bret Bielema -
He has been a key element in numerous successful programs and he has been the architect of some of college football's best defenses during the past 25 years.
Bret Bielema -
Mark has been a pleasant surprise for us. He has really responded well; the keys, the reads, he's got great ability, just his overall presence. It's good because he can now make plays both ways.
Bret Bielema
-
It's hard to train that in practice time. You can make calls, you can make adjustments, but just that pressure, 'This is what it is, this is reality, I need to concentrate on every play,' that's what we've got to get through.
Bret Bielema -
We really think, hopefully, all three of those guys will hit the ground running June 12 when we start our summer conditioning.
Bret Bielema -
I'm excited because it allows the guy to roam.
Bret Bielema -
We've been trying to sell it. I know there won' be the same crowd that there is in Camp Randall next year. But we're trying to get as many people in the stands as possible and make it a game-day environment.
