We were reasonably happy with the way we started the tour against Scotland and haven't seen the need to make any changes at this stage.
-
They were outstanding. They are the best team in the world by one minute.
-
It's the confidence that says if I'm open shoot the basketball. I've been making shots my whole career. I can't turn down an open shot. I'm sorry, I can't do it. If I'm open, and a guy's 30 feet away from me, I've got to let it go.
-
Home court changes everything. If you have home court, you're expected to win.
-
Most definitely I'm excited, ... There's a strong base coming through. We're probably in the same situation the Wallabies were back in 1997.
-
We're an unselfish team. When you move the ball, you get the best shot. The ball is getting into the right people's hands at the right time.
-
Homecourt is everything in the NBA.
-
We got guys who can score. Everybody knows guys can score.
-
Whenever you come back from an injury like that, it takes time to get your rhythm back. The only thing I tell Caron is, 'Keep taking open shots. Don't turn down shots.' Sometimes he has a tendency to do that, to put his head down. I hate when he does that. He needs to keep shooting.
-
I was trying my best to calm everybody down, because we're going to make mistakes. We've just got to be a little bit smarter with the ball.
-
Only idiots repeat failure, and that's what's been happening there.
-
I think Ireland will come out with a very different approach. I think, certainly in terms of attack, they'll play a far different game. We're prepared for anything...
-
He gained some good experience in the Super 12 this year and for the Australian Under-21s in Argentina. He is a strong runner and physically equipped to play Test rugby.
-
England, Ireland and Wales will all be strong opposition at home and while it's good from a preparation side of things to have the Tests confirmed, we still have a full Super 12 and home international series ahead of us.
-
Rath trained really well today so he's going to be right to go this weekend. He's had some x-rays that have cleared his chest of any serious infection so he'll be available for selection.
-
When Mike (is) on like that, he makes it tough for anyone to deal with because he has unlimited range, pretty much. What are you going to do, come up on him? He'll just drive right past you and hit the pull-up. When he's got it going, he's just tough to deal with.
-
We have flown Matt over purely as a precaution at this stage. With a bit of treatment tonight George should be fine and right to take his place in the starting line-up.
-
I've been really impressed with the way he has come back from the Under 21 World Cup and taken his form into club rugby.
-
He's showing the league what he's about. He's a really good point guard who does what's asked of him. You already know you're going to get good shooting out of him. But the way he's defending and running the ball club -- those are things every team wants. Free agency is going to be great for him this summer.
-
The blokes have worked really hard over the last five days and have come together well.
-
It's a sign of the times. You only have to look at the changes to the Australian Schoolboys line-ups over the past four or five years.
-
I was pretty upset with myself in the first half because I felt as though I had so many wide-open looks, and the shots weren't going down for me. In the fourth quarter, shots came my way, and I had my mind made up they were going to go in in the second half.
-
Our scrum was better against Ireland. We need to keep improving and relish the contest.
-
Shot-clock violation. No doubt about it. It was a shot-clock violation.
