We're a defensive team. We have to be a defensive teams. The other teams that win games are teams that are in the top, defensively.

It's a great opportunity for Clyde and David to have a really good off-season and be right to play next year. David hasn't had an off-season since he turned professional so we've got to allow him to get back to full health.

When things aren't going great for us we sucked it up and continued to push forward. That's what it's all about in this league. If things aren't going great for you on the floor, continue to be confident in yourself and keep forcing the issue. If we want to be a successful team on a night-to-night basis we have to drive to the basket, make plays for each other and make defensive stops.

I know there's a lot of gloom and doom around at the moment, the silver lining for us is that we are going to be able to develop some players.
Eddie Charles Jones -
I take no credit at all. This is a talented team with a real desire to follow a specific style of play.
Eddie Charles Jones -
There may be one or two others that we may rest and they may also be medically linked as well.
Eddie Charles Jones -
It was a bad game all the way around. The good thing about this league is that we have an opportunity to bounce back the next night.
Eddie Charles Jones -
There has to be some sort of officiating of the actual laws of the game. Rugby is in a really negative spiral at the moment where the game is rewarding negativity at the tackle contest. There is no reward at all for trying to play rugby. We're a side that actually tries to play rugby and we're not being encouraged to play.

We've got a lot more Polynesians playing rugby in Australia and now these young guys have come through our development system and are making their way into the national team.
Eddie Charles Jones -
We've said to all the guys they are not there to just develop on tour, they are there to get in the test 22,
Eddie Charles Jones -
He's got a big heart, and he challenges guys. He gets up in guys' (faces) and makes guys play harder. I like coaches like that. He's emotional and enthusiastic about the game.
Eddie Charles Jones -
We are certainly going to struggle to keep Drew.
Eddie Charles Jones -
We're at the stage where some of our more experienced players are injured, some have already been rested, so it's a great opportunity to bring a bit of youth and enthusiasm into the squad.
Eddie Charles Jones -
We felt we needed to come back home and get this win. It was a much-needed win after last night. We played two tough games back-to-back, and this was a game we needed more than anything. Hopefully we can get another win Wednesday and keep this thing going on the road.

Scott will be desperate to beat us. He's one of the most talented coaches in world rugby and has done excellent work with Wales.
Eddie Charles Jones -
France, England, Ireland and Wales are all strong opposition, especially at home. It will be a challenging tour.
Eddie Charles Jones -
Pau has been doing it for us all season and he did it again. He saved us.
Eddie Charles Jones -
We went to the basket and didn't get the calls. They went to the basket and got the calls. Down the stretch, they gave us calls then, but in the middle of the game, we didn't get them. ... My third foul, I was like there must be something wrong with the shot clock. I was baffled.
Eddie Charles Jones -
When the time comes you've got to make stops. You've got to contest shots, block shots and make it tough for them. We're doing it as a team. Every night we get better at helping each other.
Eddie Charles Jones -
George is his own character. He is not a warm and fuzzy character in front of the media. He is certainly different in front of the Australian team. He is one of the funniest, most gregarious guys that you will meet. His persona in front of the media is slightly different.
Eddie Charles Jones
-
We certainly looked at George's form as you do with every player's form at the end of the season but he'll go on tour as captain.
Eddie Charles Jones -
As a team the increased fuel costs, naturally, affect your budget. Figure this: the transporter that we run gets about 6 1/2 to 7 miles per gallon at best, 4 1/2 at worst. Obviously, the increased fuel cost makes a considerable difference, especially with all of these trips we're making to the West Coast now.
Eddie Charles Jones -
I knew if we could somehow take him away from his game or make it tough for him to score, our chances of winning the game were high.
Eddie Charles Jones -
They are similar sorts of players. The three of them are extremely talented.
