We didn't do enough offensively to get it done, and we don't usually say that.
-
I talked to him before the game, and I asked him why in some games he is not aggressive, and some games he is. He gave me an excuse, and I didn't buy it. Andre is not selfish at all, but he has to be selfish in that sense, to try and get shots up, because we need him to.
-
We got things done at the right time. Every time we went down, we kept our composure, got back into the lead and were able to sustain it.
-
I didn't know I had this many fans in Puerto Rico. I'm going to carry this memory to my grave.
-
It's a big disappointment. They just jumped on us. Once we started to get into any type of groove offensively or defensively, it was too late.
-
He got himself involved. It wasn't so much anything we did specifically ? we did really the same things we've been doing. He found ways to get his hands on the ball.
-
He has that confidence, that swagger with him. He doesn't feel like a little young guy out of place anymore. He feels welcome. He knows that, that's his spot and he's a part of this franchise.
-
It's a big win for us...just because we've been struggling to win a game after a game. You feel good about not giving up one after we win one.
-
It was a team effort. We did everything that we needed for the win. You can't put it on one thing. We've been doing a lot of things well. We're playing well together. We're defending. We're doing a lot of positive things out there. We're putting ourselves in a (position) to win. We're giving ourselves a chance every night, just playing well defensively. We feel like every night we can score 100 points, but we've got to stop people.
-
We're going to need team efforts and we need each other down the stretch.
-
We don't have an identity as far as how we play on the defensive end. We might play well one night and on another night we won't play well. We always score the ball and average 100 points, so obviously our problem is in other areas. Until we take care of those problems, we're going to continue to struggle.
-
We should because when coaches get fired, the players have a lot to do with it.
-
For that to happen with 4.9 seconds left, it's devastating.
-
We just got whipped from the beginning of the game to the end. They were making shots, they executed well both offensively and defensively. They just played real well tonight.
-
It felt terrible but I was glad I played all the way through so I didn't have to sit down and have it stiffen up. It stiffened up real bad at halftime but I managed to get through it.
-
I remember playing in a tournament when at home we didn't have light, because my mom spent her last money on my sneakers.
-
You play 82 games, and it's unheard of that you win every game, but this is one we should have had.
-
I dress to make myself comfortable. I really do have a problem with it. . . it's just not right.
-
I had problems walking, so I knew I couldn't do any running. I couldn't do it. It's real swollen.
-
I want to win a ring. I want to have an opportunity to get back to the Finals, but I just have to take it one day at a time, and understand that it can happen -- and I always believe it. Once I stop believing the goal can be accomplished, there is no need to keep dressing up every night. All that matters is us getting into the playoffs, because then, anything can happen.
-
Being an All-Star is everything.
-
We've just got to understand that (tonight) is a different day and we've got to perform better than we did (Wednesday) night.
-
They knock Shaq about his free throws. I'm the one that needs to be getting knocked.
-
I want to play. Obviously we didn't get it done the first time I was a part of that team. If God blesses me with another opportunity to try it, it would be an honor. I would have a second shot at fulfilling one of my goals.
