Daphne Eurydice Zuniga is an American actress and environmental activist. Born in San Francisco, Zuniga was raised between Berkeley, California and Reading, Vermont. In her youth, she studied at the American Conservatory Theater, and later enrolled at the University of California, Los Angeles, where she studied theater. She made her film debut in 1982 in the slasher film The Dorm That Dripped Blood at the age of 19, followed by a lead role in the horror film The Initiation (1984) two years later.
