I've always had a desire to play a cop or FBI agent.

I need to get better at learning how to stay calm. I'm a bit of a worrier and a stress cadet. Yoga helps me to some degree, but I haven't been able to figure out meditation yet. I have a feeling it would be very good for me, but unfortunately, I'm still holding it all in until I explode part of my life.

I've been living, I've lived in New York since I was 18 years old and traveled pretty much all over the world.

It's not hard to draw from within yourself to play someone protective of her daughter. I have animals and I'm a daughter, sister, wife, aunt and friend, and I can be fiercely protective.

For me, relaxing is going on a 10-mile hike. When I have time off, I like to be at home and spend time with my animals, and things like that.I'm not the girl that goes out for facials, and manicures and pedicures, all the time. I wish I did. It would be better for me, but I get annoyed.

We only have this one planet; we got to figure out how to live on it without destroying it.

Models have a stigma that they can't act. You're also, to be quite blunt, you're tall and not a lot of actors are tall and when you are starting out you're obviously not the first one cast, so you're trying to fit into a mold. You're quite often not cast as the quirky best friend, but you don't have the experience to be cast as the lead. So it can be really tricky. One of the biggest things is just to get your people, so to speak, your agents and managers to take you seriously. That's one of the issues I had when I came out to LA.

We only have this one planet; we got to figure out how to live on it without destroying it. So much of cultures not getting along is because of religion. If each religion's deity is the right one to them, then whose is right and whose is wrong? No one has the proof, so we need to figure out how to work through it.

You just have to be persistent. I think that's one of the biggest things about the model industry and this career is being persistent and believing in yourself and also being ready when the timing is right. So much of it is about timing and luck, so to be ready when you get the opportunity.

I've never gone for the smooth, suave Latin or French lover. That usually makes me think they're trying to pull one over on me.
-
Work hard, play fair, be kind to all living creatures, and take a moment to just sit back and breathe.
-
I'm happy that I have agents and managers that believe in me.
-
I think sometimes the hardest obstacle is yourself. I can certainly be my own worst critic and oftentimes forget to enjoy the here and now. Physically, the hardest obstacle I have overcome was severe back issues. This resulted in finally getting surgery to replace four discs, which changed my life back to active - which is how I am happiest.
-
I do like to treat myself, I just don't do it very often.

Most of the time, with voice-overs, you're recording before they've got the graphics, and you also don't get a whole script. I get my lines, as I show up that day. You don't know what the rest of the story is, so you really rely on the people in the room that you're working with, so they can fill you in on what's going on, right around your particular lines.

Animals are just as important as we are.

I am inspired when I see goodness in other people. I am inspired by hard work and honesty. And I am inspired by nature.
-
I think actors' careers have highs and lows, and ups and downs. It just really all depends.
-
When I was in high school I thought I was going to university into psychology.
-
I am inspired when I see goodness in other people.
-
I handle emotional pain by trying to understand that it's going to be painful and to allow for it instead of fighting it. Doesn't make it any easier, though.
-
People will always put you in a box that they think you fit in, and it's up to you to not fall into it.

I can certainly be my own worst critic and oftentimes forget to enjoy the here and now.
