I know we went from Buffalo to San Diego to here, and I know we (stunk) all the way.
-
The second quarter is what killed us. Hopefully we'll get to play these guys in the playoffs because I think we match up well with them.
-
We play such good defense, and they struggled all series shooting the ball. I thought they came out with fire in the third quarter. Then we fought back and put them in the ground. They gave up.
-
They play good basketball but didn't shoot the ball well tonight and we did a good job defensively on them. They had good energy but the shots weren't going down for them. I don't know if it was because Ray Allen was out but they normally shoot the ball better than that.
-
Every time you turned around, there was a foul. Free throws, free throws. Maybe one or two baskets, then free throws again. It just slowed the whole game down, big time.
-
Any kids out there, I'd tell them try and do what you can. If you need the medication, you need the medication. I didn't want to take a pill for the rest of my life.
-
We played them good, we had them going. We've got to keep the pressure on, punish them. We didn't do that. I think it was a little bit of jitters, maybe.
-
We've have chemistry that we've been building with him not playing, so we're trying to fit him in. People can't be so critical of him. I mean, let him play three or five games. Corey's a great player, but he hasn't played in three months, so you've got to give him some time to get back into the swing of things.
-
Reputations stick with you. It's harder to forget about stuff you do in this league, because somebody's always going to bring it up ... Sometimes guys get bad reputations but they don't deserve it.
-
He's able to sustain longer minutes in the game. He's more powerful, and he's able to hit the jumper a lot better; he worked real hard on that.
-
We didn't play soft. There were a lot of fouls called. Some that we weren't used to and some that I haven't seen in my whole life.
-
There are some solid teams that we've beaten - and there's some teams that we should have beaten and didn't. It's just frustrating. I think we play better against teams like this and we get more geared up for them. I think they bring out the best in us.
-
I think someone who would watch this would think there is something wrong with me and something wrong with my friends.
-
No offense to Kenyon, but I think (his absence) helps them. Look at their record without him.
-
It just seems like we couldn't close it. We were up by 15, 17, 18 and we just kept letting them back in it. It's kind of disappointing, but we got the win.
-
We haven't been in the playoffs since 1997.
-
They struggle shooting the three-pointers, so you kind of pack it in a little bit.
-
You know what grandeur is? It's awesome.
-
It's, like, a rule. You can't have Christmas without snow.
-
I don't know what the situation is, but if I get the ball in good position I try to do the best I can to score.
-
We did a good job defensively. We didn't turn the ball over much. It was really more of a team win.
-
It's just kind of frustrating, somehow we can never get these guys. I don't know if it's mental, obviously too many turnovers tonight was a big thing. I had five myself in the first half, that's just unacceptable. We're not preparing ourselves the right way for the playoffs like we need to. We've got to step it up.
-
I'm not happy with the way we played late in the game. The last quarter, we were terrible.
-
Defensively, it was probably the best game I've played with the steals, the blocks (three) and the rebounds. I play hard, I play with a lot of energy. Some nights I don't have the energy, and you can obviously tell the nights that I don't. I just try to play hard and go after the rebounds the best I can, and they were coming to me tonight.
