He's still a few weeks away from what the book says, but strength-wise he appears to be solid. What's the magical day is hard to determine. I think the doctors will evaluate him on today and see if he can't start doing some work.
-
He is indifferent to all the attention he has been receiving. It does not seem to bother him one way or the other.
-
Each day he's gotten more and more confident, knocking the rust off. Larry brings a lot of energy defensively, just with his attitude and all. Having him available to play to some degree hopefully will be a boost for us.
-
We're going to keep getting better as we go. I believe there's great potential as we go. Are we there yet? Obviously not. But we're going to keep trying.
-
They're still learning and improving as they go, but they played with some attitude and toughness that we needed, ... I believe we'll build off of that.
-
He was always the first guy Jason White would talk to when he came off the field. Josh has a really good way with those guys and I'm sure he'll step right in here tomorrow night and do the same thing.
-
It kind of just typifies our whole year. We've been fighting all year. I'm proud of our guys for competing the way they did.
-
Our expectations are always high. I don't know why anybody could ever argue why they wouldn't be. Once our expectations are set, this is what we're after, and then it gets down to each game.
-
We were fighting, scratching and clawing all year. At the end of the game, you had that feeling of 'Here we go again,' but we made the plays we needed to win the game.
-
All those guys are coming in ready to play at some point.
-
What we were doing at the end of the game, we've never done before. The other side of it is, if we don't do it, for instance when we did take a knee against Texas Tech, does that then come back and haunt you? Is that the reason that maybe kept you out of something, and how do you live with that as well? Its really a rotten position to play in.
-
Now, it's more building their confidence. That's where we're at, ... We have to just do our job, do it as hard as we can do it and just play smarter. If we do that alone, we've got a chance to improve. Just not making mistakes and take care of the ball.
-
I thought the play was really a breaking point for us. I am not at all questioning the call, but we thought we had it, then we didn't, then they went down and got a field goal. Thinking we had the ball at the 30, and then not, that was a big swing.
-
Once, he was a little mad that we only gave him one yard on a run. I said, 'Don't' worry about it. You'll get plenty of yards.' I guess that was a way to keep his pride a little bit while wearing blue.
-
We're going right now with Rhett, but we've still always got Paul ready to go.
-
With the success of our program and the media attention we have received, we feel we can attract players from all over the country.
-
Typical of our recent classes, this one is well-balanced.
-
It's not the ideal situation, I understand that, ... But I think people respect Paul and how hard he's worked, and this gives him an opportunity to do something that excites him.
-
This just kind of typifies our whole year. We have a great group of young guys that are capable of becoming very good. This team just continued to fight and make plays as it gained confidence down the stretch.
-
Brent's an excellent coach, so if that's something that goes in a positive direction, I'm all for it.
-
I think they're great. I don't know if that's a surprise to anybody.
-
I have total confidence in Chuck, and I think his track record speaks for him. The proof is in what they've done.
-
I know what will be written, but we're a work in progress, ... We're fighting that. We're going to keep pushing and making improvements each week, and if we do that, we have a chance to have a good team.
-
I didn't anticipate all that's happened and who we've missed.
