Adan Canto (born December 5, 1981) is a Mexican actor. He is best known for his role as Sunspot in the 2014 superhero film X-Men: Days of Future Past. On television, Canto played Paul Torres on the Fox drama series The Following, and in 2015 starred as AJ Menendez in the short-lived ABC prime time soap opera Blood & Oil. Most recently, he starred in the role of Aaron Shore in the ABC political drama Designated Survivor.

Music, in Mexico, just wasn't working out. So, I fell into acting and I just fell in love with it. It was amazing! It was a great safe place to just vent.
