Throughout my career, I fed off the fuel of people not being able to understand me.
-
I'm an attention freak. I want all the women in the world, and if I don't get them, I fall to the ground and start kicking my feet.
-
If you're the parent, be a parent. You know what I mean? I'm a parent. I have daughters.
-
I'm thankful for the talent in which God gave me and I'm thankful for the environment that he placed me.
-
Trust is hard to come by. That's why my circle is small and tight. I'm kind of funny about making new friends.
-
I would love it if, even for one day, you could walk through a neighborhood and see an Asian guy sitting on his stoop, then you look across the street and see a black guy and a white guy sitting on their porches, and a Mexican dude walking by.
-
It feels good to have your work respected again.
-
Nuts they go, macadamia they go so ballistic, whoa.
-
I grew up on Hip Hop, it's the music I love and it's the music I respect. I respect the culture...that's me.
-
The emotions in a song - the anger, aggression - have got to be legitimate.
-
With every song, all the elements have to work. First, the beat has to be great - you start there. You start with the music, and then the ideas follow. Then you start thinking of rhymes, and then you record it, and sometimes - this happens to me a lot - it doesn't come out as good as it did in my head when I first wrote it.
-
I'm kinda rather make people laugh I guess or cry or whatever but bragging about what I have for me personally uncharacteristic I guess.
-
I haven't had a perfect career. I've put some albums out that, looking back, I'm not super proud of, but there's also a lot of stuff that I am very proud of.
-
Before I was famous, when I was just working in Gilbert's Lodge, everything was moving in slow motion.
-
Music is so therapeutic for me that if I can't get it out, I start feeling bad about myself - a lot of self-loathing.
-
I don't speak, I float in the air wrapped in a sheet I'm not a real person, I'm a ghost trapped in a beat
-
Came to the world at a time when it was in need of a villain. An asshole, that role I think I succeed in fulfilling. Dont think I ever stopped to think I was speaking to children. Everything was happening so fast, it was like I blinked, sold three million.
-
No more cutting grams, and wrapping grands up in rubber-bands, I'm a recovered man, our plans ta discover other lands, suburban places got me seeking for an oasis, cristal by the cases, ladies of all races with dime faces, sex on the white sand beaches of Saint Thomas, though this ain't promised, I'm as determined as them old timers.
-
I can't tell you what it really is, I can only tell you what it feels like.
-
I need to keep working on myself for a while.
-
We sing for these kids who don't have a thing.
-
She [Benzino] is obsessed with me. I never would think I would see the day when I seen the worst rapper in the world going against one of the best.
-
But I still rap like I'm on my Pharoahe Monch grind.
-
If you can afford...a computer, you can afford to pay $16 for my...CD.
